22/23 After SChool Program

Additional Information

We are proud to continue offering a low cost after-school program to the kids and families of our community. The cost is $15 per week...which means just $3 per day! We also have financial aid programs for low income families and hardship situations - please inquire at the Club for more details!


Boys & Girls Club provides youth with a safe place to learn and grow, to form ongoing relationships with caring adults, to participate in life-enhancing programs and character development experiences, to nurture hope for their future, and to create opportunities to succeed. 


Our after school program includes:

- a meal for each child

- opportunities to explore art, tech, sports, games and so much more!


Days: Monday to Friday

Times: 3:00pm to 6:30pm


Fall Semester program is from Aug 17, 2022 through Dec 31, 2022. Club will be closed for:

- Labor Day (Sep 5)

- Thanksgiving (Nov 24 & 25)

- Christmas weekend (Dec 23-26)


Spring Semester program is from Jan 3, 2023 through May 25, 2023. Club will be closed for:

- MLK Day (Jan 16)

 DIY STEM is a hands-on, activity-based STEM curriculum which connects youth to science themes they encounter regularly. Special attention is paid to connections of theory and application and the common interactions members have with these scientific principles.

Sports & Recreation

 These Club programs help develop physical fitness, reduce stress and promote a positive use of leisure time, appreciation for the environment and interpersonal skills. 


One of our programs, Triple Play, is a comprehensive health and wellness program. It strives to improve the overall health of Club members ages 6-18 by increasing daily physical activity, teaching them about good nutrition and helping them develop healthy relationships.

 These programs are designed to foster creativity in young people, and give them outlets for self-expression. From painting to crochet to drawing, our arts programs have something that will inspire every kid.

 These programs are designed to ensure that all Club members graduate from high school on time, ready for a post-secondary education and a 21st-century career. 


 Summer Brain Gain is comprised of one-week modules with fun, themed activities for elementary school, middle school and high school students that are aligned with common core anchor standards. In addition, Summer Brain Gain: Read!, a literacy program, complements the larger Summer Brain Gain curriculum.

The Club is a safe place for teens age 13-18, where you can drop in after school and be accepted and supported. Teen center hours and activities vary by community but all offer a unique environment that feels like family.


 From sports to arts, volunteerism to academic pursuits, The Club offers resources and programs to create meaningful experiences today as you prepare a plan for the future. We’re here to listen and guide you as you choose your path forward. 


 You are a member for life. As you take your next steps, remember The Club is always a home away from home. We committed to providing college and career resources, such as scholarships, mentorship and job networking for Club alumni.
